There are number reasons why one would lack this very important
substance. For one, if you are not fond of eating egg yolks, cheese,
fish, and beef liver, your vitamin D levels will run dangerously
low. You can remedy this by either learning to eat those foods or
finding a supplement that has enough units of vitamin D per day.
Another reason would be if you are homebound and are not fond of
getting sunshine during daytime. While noontime heat can cause
dangerous skin conditions, morning heat that you get at 8AM to 10AM is
actually harmless and is recommended by health expert.
You can start making changes in your lifestyle by doing stretches
and running around the neighborhood in the mornings. When you park
your car near your office, make sure you walk slowly towards the
building in order to get some sunshine even for just a few
minutes.
